Aren't you confusing the physical dimensions for PDF output with display size in pixels? For example, "ANSI B" refers to an intended document size 8.5 x 11 inches. The output resolution for Image or PDF can be set in DPI in  Project > Import/Export > Export Map to... PDF or Image On Wed, 26 Feb
