Hi all.
We (faunalia) have a script for autopackaging our python plugins. I know others
have
made the same. I think this is very useful, as it allows painless frequent
release of
new versions, and avoids common errors.
I think this should become part of standard infrastructure, applied by default

Hello Devs,
In connection with the previous announcement that, I am planning to build
the Heatmap plugin and people suggesting that I use C++ for it so that it
gets native support, I have a few doubts regarding this.
Firstly what exactly is the workflow? My rudimentary understanding is that,

Hi,
I think new plugin repo should provide this functionality (maybe at
optional basis). Preparing archive and uploading it every time is a bit
uncomfortable.

glad we all agree. I think it would be easier to implement if we choose to have

Hi all.
I recently realized that even core QGISsers do not have the plugin situation
clear in
mind. No surprise, as I think we all find it quite complex. I think with a
reasonable
effort we can simplify it, with obvious advantages both for developers and
users.
These are the necessary steps. IMH
Hi all.
If I choose "not set" for one of the 3 bands of a raster, all raster becomes
blank:
am I doing something wrong, or this is a bug?

There a number of issues about rasters. I'm compiling a list, thanks
for spotting also this (that I can confirm).

+1 on both infrastructure suggestions and guidelines.
Both will help users and developers alike. Users will get more consistent
plugins and they should be able to report bugs/crashes much more easily
than is currently possible.
Developers should get better feedback, nice automation (such as the

Yes that's it, it seems better that just set italic or bold to all the text.

One of the shortcomings is the lack of documentation for individual plugins.
This needs to be addressed since a plugin with no documentation often is not
usable. Some simple plugins can be completely documented in a single line of

(frane@1>30)=1 + (frane@1 <=30)=2
what's wrong with this expression? each of the two parts gives correct
results,but if
together I get only 0s.
Thanks for help.

ok, replacing =1 with *1 gives desired results; a strange syntax to me, though.

I confirm the error, even without selection.
Can we consider the plugin broken? Any hope for a fix?

I had made a note a while back that this could be a function of the
plugins site (the django part). Where a plugin author could go to the
page for their plugin and there would be a button to package the plugin
from repo, where it defaults to the current repo state but optionally
