Can you please tell me which version of Qemu works on Windows 10? I tried a
bunch of different versions and all of them have trouble writing into some
files. During installation I get an error message like this: "error writing
to file edk2-arm-vars.fd".

I desire to install CentOS 8 on an external USB connection.
what do I use for the -hda XXX value ?
on linux it would be /dev/sdb - but what is it for windows ?
Thanks,
Jerry

the host's CPU has 6 cores and 12 Threads (3rd gen AMD Ryxen 3600)
furthermore when I start it specifying the "max" type of CPU I
