I apologize if this isn't the right venue for this message, but this
mailing list seems a bit more active than qemu-discuss.
Background:
I am running OpenSUSE 12.1. I fixed audio issues in VM guests by setting
the following in qemu.conf:
vnc_allow_host_audio = 1
I also set user= and group=
SE is linked against pulse
audio so I didn't think it would be a sound server issue.

I have OpenSUSE 12.1 and I have a 64-bit Windows 7 VM that recognizes
the emulated ICH6 sound (HDA audio device). Although Windows
recognizes this sound device just fine, there is no sound from the
