I'm using Raspbian. When I do :
pi@raspberrypi ~ $ apt-get install python-pip
I notice that Python2.6 is installed on top of Python2.7. How to solve this
problem and use 2.7 instead?

is required to install some modules.

here is a tarball with refreshed patches ; I removed
pygments2.0_compatibility.patch and packaged-js.patch because they
seemed obsolete.
I just played with quilt and vi until I had a clean stack : I'm now
going to check if I can get things further.
