Yes. 3.2.5 is a bugfix release of the 2.3 branch, 2.4 is a major
release. 2.4.1 is coming soon, BTW.

As far as I understand, 2.3.5 is a maintenance release in the 2.3
branch. It is independent of the 2.4 branch.
