Well its my understanding, that there is no maximum length specified in RFC959.
There is however option to set it up while telnet connection, and that would be
other solution to this issue.

Well, I ran coverage.py over this module and it turns out that this method,
ftpcp has neighter tests nor docs. Most of ftplib is tested, but this one
function was not.
