Hi all
Is pymol able to save surface mesh files (.obj or .wrl) which include face
colours?
Many thanks

Hi David -
Yes, indeed, PyMOL can save VRML2 (.wrl) files, although it outputs vertex
colors rather than face colors.

Hi Colin,
thanks for the bug report, I can confirm that ray tracing dots representation
is broken. Unfortunately, there is no workaround (other than going back to
PyMOL 1.7.0). Fortunately, this is a quick fix and we will post updated
installers soon!
Cheers,
Thomas

Hi Doug,
to answer your question, Schrödinger is not working on an Android version of
PyMOL and we don't have plans to start this any time soon.
But we are happy to collect feedback that will help us prioritize an Android
port. For those who have an iPad: What do you use Mobile PyMOL for? How o

Hi Thomas,
Although I have no use for the iPad version I can answer your
questions as if for an Android version.
In my experience most people have quite a '2D' approach to molecular
design, due to a lifetime of learning via lectures, journals and
textbooks. Very often I find myself wishing
