I just intalled the recent hybrid version of pymol on my G3 os 10.2.8. I got
the following error messege:

Hello,
I try to make a legend box as apbs plugin does with colors it uses (the
box is set at the bottom of the visualization screen).
Does someone know if a kind of tutorial exists for ?

I looked into this a little. I think the apbs script (its apbs.py or
something -- if you can't find it search for it on google) calls a
function called cmd.ramp_new() with a bunch of arguements. Apparently
this 'ramp' is a built in c-level object. You maybe able to mimic the
code in apbs.

request. Despite Peitzsch's SwissModel (very convenient) and Sali's
Modeller (less convenient but perhaps more precise ?) I would like to
know, for educational purposes, whether PyMol could do reasonably well
also.

Not much. At the present time, PyMOL is only useful for this when used in
combination with external tools like GROMACS, MMTK, and Szybki.

Firstly the scene functions are really cool and will be invaluable for
teaching. I have a minor glitch though. On two other PC's (not mine
which works fine, XP, pack 2) the psw file comes up with an error (ie
microsoft error message blah blah blah, Don't send) and doesn't do what
it
