Hi Nikolas,
Welcome to the mailing list! For PyVOL specifically, your best bet might be
to reach out to the authors of the PyVOL plugin via Github issue (seems
like there's been various ones submitted recently)

Hi everyone,
just got here. I’ll break the ice with what may be a bit of a trivial question:
is anyone experiencing issues with not-so-old plugins and newer versions of
PyMOL?
My very useful plugins, among which my dearest “PyVOL”, stopped working after I
have upgraded from PyMOL 2.5.4. I’ve g
Hi Rituraj,
To get a meaningful stack trace, import a plugin's module, e.g.:
PyMOL> import pmg_tk.startup.align_all
Not all plugins will add an entry to the "Plugin" menu, some just register new
commands.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Thomas

Hi Yarrow,
I assume you don't have the latest PyMOL version (1.5), which has
improved plugin support and should not raise such an error.
I don't know "movs.py" but it looks like it has not been written as a
"plugin", but just a normal PyMOL/python script (again, PyMOL 1.5 will

Due to the (unexpected) popularity of my plugin to color 2 backbones according

I am trying to use PyMol plugins but I have some problems.
In the reported case the Caver plugin was considered (following usage

Has anyone looked into making pymol plugins work with any of the sundry
distributed resource management systems (gridengine, lsf, pbs, condor, etc.)?
I have a cluster that could make short work of a lot of computations that I
want to visualize in pymol, but currently, that would mean installing

Hi PyMOLers,
We're having some mysterious troubles with PyMOL plugins that I hope
someone can shed some light on.
Out of the several linux boxes we have running PyMOL, a RedHat machine
and a Debian machine play very nicely with plugins. Nothing ever
complains and everything is smooth a
