This is a "just in case", not that I think this is you issue really.
We have seen lost packets with bridge + vlans and pfsense and Debian
guests; swiching to a virtual interface per vlan in pfsense fixed the
problem, but we didn't dig very deep into the problem (we saw this
problem

mtu size is enough big on bridge && taps vs mtu in your vms ?

while running PVE 4.4 i'm observing lost tcp packets on a new cluster.
Two VMs are connected to the same bridge on the same host using virtio
and linux as a guest.
But the target guest does not receive all tcp packets some get lost. I
