Hello,
I've found the issue by adding a -x to the shebang of the script.
It was related to the LANG settings, when I modified these to be C via the
environment settings in the exec resource it worked just fine

Hello,
I'm trying to automate the installation of an HPOV agent on systems with
HP's oainstall.sh script.
When manually running the script with the options -install -agent all works
fine
When I try to do the same with an exec resource in puppet I get the weird
behaviour that it returns with

Hello,
I recently upgraded to PuppetDB2.2.0 from 1.6.3
When I was running PuppetDB1.6.3 with Puppet 3.4.3 I could do with 256Mb of
heap space for PuppetDB after the upgrade I've increased first to 512Mb and
768Mb but I kept getting Out of Memory, so now I've increased it to 1Gb.

Hello,
thx for the help, I think it was related to new Package allow_virtual.
I've added a section to the manifest/site.pp to set this for puppet agents
running 3.6.1 or higher and now I do get reports into PuppetDB.
So that problem seems to be solved now.
I'm only using the production environme
Hello,
I recently upgraded from puppetdb 1.6 to 2.2 but now it seems like I'm
having issues with the puppetdb report processor.
I keep getting the errors below:

to submit report. This may be due a bug with Puppet. Ensure
Hello,
I read the PE3.0 announcement and it states the the dashboard in there uses
PostgreSQL as backend. Will this version be released as open-source too?
Or are there other options available to use PostgresQL with
puppet-dashboard?

Hello,
I have a yaml file with a hash of network interfaces (ifaces hash), each
nic has an associated ipaddress and netmask.
Using hiera ifaces fqdn=host.mycompany.com I can get all interfaces back.
Is there a way using the hiera cli to get a specific value of a key within
the hash?
e.g. hier
Hello all,
I was wondering what the possibilities are for storing sensitive data in
hiera.
I read about hiera-gpg and it's increase in catalog compile time, I also
read about puppet-decrypt.
What would you advise to use? Are there any other plans to support
sensitive data natively in hiera?
