Thanks, Michael. Sorry it's fallen by the wayside. I've now installed
Foreman. While, I liked Puppet-Dashboard's output more, Foreman will do
just fine.

Invalid HTTP format, eh? I have no idea what that, or the succeeding Ruby
errors, mean. Perhaps someone will look at this, and shed some light?
Here's hoping. In the meantime, I'll start looking at alternatives.
Again, thanks.

Hi, All.
Previously, I had a Puppet server running version 3.x, and Puppet Dashboard
1.2. Worked a treat. Now, I created a new Puppet server version 4. I got
that all working fine. I also installed Dashboard 2.0.0. While I can see
the Dashboard, there are no nodes reported. Has anyone els
Hello, all.
I'm trying to create a manifest that will 1) create a file populated with
wmic-generated data, and; 2) rename that file to include the server name.
Here's what I've written:
class win_diskinfo {
exec { 'create disk info file' :

Rob,
Thanks a million for getting me started on how to add the registry values.
I'll give that a go. Still, I'm disappointed that I can't get my batch
file to run remotely.
Again, thanks.

Max,
I'm not a Puppet expert, and I don't want to talk out-of-school. But, I
don't think there's as much information available for Puppet on Windows as
there is for Puppet on Linux. That said, I have Puppet installed on about
50 Windows hosts, and it works well, for the most part. Vis-a-vis

puppetmaster, the boxes remain unchecked. Why is that, and what steps do I
have to take so that the manifest will create successful results when run
from the master?

Setup Temp Folders", where the batch file is supposed to make the change, I
see ""StateFlags0100 REG_DWORD 0x (0)", meaning it isn't changed
when I run the manifest. Great catch! How do I remediate?

Any other ideas?

Hello, all.
I'm trying to execute the following batch file (sageset.bat) on Win2k8
servers:
@ECHO OFF
REM Enable components to cleanup
REG ADD
"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VolumeCaches\Active
Setup Temp Folders" /v StateFlags0100 /d 2 /t REG_DWORD /f

Hello, all.
I have one CentOS 5.x machine on which Puppet fails to start. I've tried a
few things, and searched for a solution, but haven't come up with
anything. Here's the error:
