First off are you running open source puppet or puppetlabs.
I understand there is a difference...
and most instructions do not include restarting the pe-http daemon so you
have stale data in there..
This is what I did
Certificate problems
On Client…
cd /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/ ssl
rm -r
I am struggling with the documentation, it is a nice read but hard for me

For instance, I am simply trying to run a module against a client.
Once I figure this out, I can move forward..

I got mine solved...on puppet labs enterprise edition..
On each Client which is not connecting right …giving that error on puppet
agent -t
cd /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/ ssl
rm -rf ca certs public_keys certificate_requsts private_keys # make sure
all files removed from SSL dir
puppet ag
I am running into the same problem and it just dawned on me that Solaris
might put it in another directory, the master is redhat, the clients are
Solaris.
What would change for a solaris certificate?

How from the master server do I push a file to a client server (server
group of 3-4 servers)?

am struggling with writting some basic modules and some other basic
operations to get me up to speed.
