I'd like to have some default values which are used in templates to be
inherited from the basenode hosts.
I tried, but I can't get it to work. This is my setup:

But that will not fix the dependency issue either.
Can someone please point either where to look for a clue (yeah in the
manual, but where?) or give me some advice regarding this?
