Have a p4pe Asus mb with i810_audio on board sound. I also have a SBLive card. Both are detected and both do not work. They show up in the applet gnome Sound Detection, there are aliases to both in modules.conf, hwconf has entries for both, but alas nothing in the way of sound.   I have en
