I found several ways to add menu items in Gnome2. First one is fire up
Nautilus and goto applications:/// and just create new launchers there.
Another way is to create a .desktop file in /usr/share/applications, I
just used one of the files in there as a template.

I have the exact same problem after installing Mozilla-1.3-0_rh8_gtk2.
Another problem I started seeing after upgrading Mozilla is
mplayer-plugin leaves the video on top even after the video ends or is
closed, only way is to close all open Mozilla windows.
