I finally fixed their RPM enough to get wine installed and I get the

I can play http://playlist.broadcast.com/makestream.asp?id=374890 (the
test file from Yahoo!) with no problems using mplayer. I also played
the archived Mark Richt Show
(http://playlist.yahoo.com/makeplaylist.dll?id=1095423&segment=89997).
I'm using the mplayer from http://psyche.freshrpms.net/rp
I actually prefer to use the command line to start streamed media
because I find that network hiccups wreak havoc with media players.
However, with galeon you can choose to use an application from the
download dialog. In any case this should just be a MIME issue.

Can anyone help?

I have to do to cause the oops is
modprobe intermezzo
mount -t intermezzo /dev/sda4 /intermezzo/seward
At this stage I'm only using components that are stock Red Hat. The user
space tools have not yet come into play, though I've recomp
n admin.
This is seeming more like an intermezzo problem than a Red Hat one so
I'll go to their list. Thanks for the help.

). I
should only have 6 installed right now. Help->About Pluggins only shows
flash player 6.
