At home I have a desktop computer and a laptop both have Redhat 8.0
installed. Both of them are networked so that the desktop acts as a
gateway/router for the laptop.
So far I don't have any trouble updating packages for the desktop

I'm just gonna guess at this but I think that you need to support
ip_nat_ftp
/sbin/insmod ip_nat_ftp
/sbin/insmod ftp_conntrack_ftp
Insert it near the top of the ruleset

Hi all,
I think the subject line is self explanatory. I just install a game on
KDE and a menu entry should be created under Extras>Games but it is not
done so until i log out and log in again. Is there a way for the menu
entry to be created without logging out first?

After upgrading to kde-3.0.4 using the rpms listed on kde's site, I
cannot run the 'Start Here' icon anymore. Whenever I click on it, an
error message appear stating: "The process for the vfolder protocol died
unexpectedly". During the upgrading itself, there was no error
encountered.
My problem is that everytime I do a restart/reboot, during the loading
of sendmail and sm-client, it will take an unusually longer time (2-3
minutes) just for both of them but that the loading process returns no
error, both sendmail and sm-client give [OK] status.
