Hello,
I'm trying to install on a hp pavillion 5400 series. the whole system locks up
at the beginning when installer tries to load a driver for firewire.
what install options can i pass to stop the loading of this driver?

Temporarily: hostname
Permanently: edit /etc/sysconfig/networking/profiles/default/network
There is probably a GUI tool to do it as well.

I have changed the hostname and restarted the server. Please let me know
how to resolve complish this.
