I skiped the media check because the cd's have been used before successfully on other
computers. I thought first that the problem could be from the media but as i tested
them, that would be out of question. Then i tried with the media check but still no
luck, i get the same message that there is

I have not had the chance to try any of this but there seems to be a solution
to my wireless nic problems. Just in case anyone has the same card, the Linksys
WPC11 v4, here is where there appears to be a solution:

I'm running rh 8.0 on a Dell Optiplex, all rhn updates applied.
The serial ports (enabled in CMOS/BIOS as com1 and com2) are not detected.
