Thanks for the advice. I will reseat and "sanity" check everything. I have
another card which I will install and split the devices. My guess is that I
have a drive that is on it's way toward failure. Do you have any advice on
"cloning" the dying disk? It is my boot disk (of course).
Where is the best place for iptables help?

The output of fdisk and sfdisk don_t differ. The first starts numbering
with 0, the second with 1. Don't know about parted.
