Well, I figured out why no data was moving from Evolution to my PDA - I
apparently needed the 'evolution-pilot' package. Unfortunately, now I'm
back to nothing working again.
I give up for now. It's taking too much of my time to figure out this
stuff, and it's not

restarting gpilotd would have done the trick too, it's just easier to log
out/in. Glad it's workin for ya.

Actually, I only quickly tested gnome-pilot - and on my home box too (still RH
8, but I didn't do the rawhide updates yet, and evo is still at 1.0.8, not

I'm having an issue with the pilot-link/gnome-pilot tools. I have my
pilot on COM1 in windows, and it works just dandy. So I've been trying
to to do it on /dev/ttyS0 in Linux, with no luck. Running pilot-xfer -p
/dev/ttyS0 -b back immediately returns with an elapsed time of 0:00
JPilot works fine with my Treo. Bizarre, since both uses pilot-link.
Anyone knows who currently maintains gnome-pilot? The website on
gnome.org is very out of date, and the linked-to page is not even there
anymore.

It did not seem to work with my Tréo 270 though - not on the stock
