My disks are set up as
hda-burner
hdb-hard drive
hdc-hard drive
hde-hard drive [os resides here]
I can listen to a music cd with no performance problems it is only on
burning audio cds or ripping using something like GRIP. Cpu usage goes
to 100% and if I run top the usage number goes above 6.00 us
