Nah, the user does not need to run anything like that.
up2date itself does what rhn_register has done before.

Thanks all for the prompt responses. I am sure I can
get it done from this point. I had looked at up2date
before (man up2date & info up2date) but saw nothing
about registration. After the 1st reply today, I
looked at "up2date --help" and saw the options needed.

I have used RHN for a while now, primarily with
RH 7.2, with excellent results. I use several
types of loads, some of which do not include
the X-windows system, so I manage these systems
entirely using command-line tools. I am now
working with RH 8.0, to begin migrating my
base installation
