1. Set up an IMAP mail account with the appropriate personal details.
You might want to uncheck the option for showing subscribed folders,

When I upgraded I had problems sending e-mail with Evolution at first...
then I checked my firewall configuration, and sure enough, smtp hadn't
been checked for, "allow". I don't think that's a problem here, just my
.02.
