Thanks to all for the replies. The problem WAS my sendmail config. In
the Cw line in sendmail.mc, I had the FQDN of my mailserver, but not the
domainname by itself. I added the domainname to the Cw line, and all is
working fine.

IIRC the /etc/mail/relay-hosts is the same as the old /etc/mail/sendmail.cw
file .. it lists the domains that you will accept mail for... the accessdb
is for allowing who can relay through your mailserver (like you would
specify your local networks in there)
