Thanks all for responding. I think the problem lies with the fact that
the nic was an isa card. I replaced it with a pci card and the
installation was happy.
Unfortunately, I never did get the iptables up and running correctly
but now my original firewall is back up and working so I no longer ne

I'm trying to setup a firewall using RH8.0. I'm just installing the
system and I've installed two nics, started the installation and when it
gets to the nic configuration it only shows one nic, eth0. Shouldn't
there be two, eth0 and eth1? Or does that come later in the process?
