Greetings,
I was wondering if anyone is using Qlogic 2200/66mhz Part #:880014-000 on
RedHat 8.0 or 8.1 beta?
I know it works with RedHat 7.3, so probably it will work with 8.0.
But I wanted to make sure there are no issues, before I get into setting up the test
environment
Thanks,
Saqib
0 CDs. So will be safe updating the kernel using up2date?
Thanks

Actually that is info that I was looking for. I was planning to buy
dual/quad CPU server with Intel's HT processors. I just wanted to know, if
there is a significant performance difference.
The application that I will be running is based on tomcat+cocoon, which is
very processor intensive.

So only WinXP supports HT?? That is no good.
Is there a way on the HT processors to turn off HT to make it work with
linux?

Howdy All,
Has anyone tried QLogic 2200 FCAL card for connecting to a Xiotech SAN

fsck {/file/system}
replace {/file/system}, with the file system that you want to repair.

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has a production redhat 8.0 server connected to
a Xiotech Magnitude SAN box. If so, what FCAL card are you using. I tried
with Intel FCAL card on RedHat 7.0, but couldnt get it to work.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi All,
I would like to find out, what init script are responsible for starting up
KDM/1204 and sunrpc/111
I have already changed the init state in my /etc/inittab from 5 to 3.
id:3:initdefault:
How KDM/1024 still gets started. Any ideas?
Thanks

Thanks
