What time zone do you have set and is your hardware clock set to GMT
or local time? Check /etc/sysconfig/clock to see.
Do you have any cron jobs the run hwclock or something similar?

My RH 8.0 Linux machine loses or gains time every 12-20 minutes while it

I use my Linux machine as a Samba file server for a Windows 2K laptop
(provided by my empl
I can connect from a Win2K PC using SSH to my RH 8 Linux box and I have
full access to my Linux system. This includes shell access and tunneled
X connections that work fine on my Win2K machine.
My problem is that after 10-15 minutes of use, I lose all connectivity
from Win2K to the RH 8 machine.
