what kind of hardware are you using?
i had experience with a compaq ML330 (i think it's this model) that reboots
at irregular intervalsfound out that a slight vibration on the server
causes it to rebootthe server fan was faulty that's why causing it...

# hdparm /dev/hda
find the using_dma setting. you may want to turn it off if its on.
1 = on, 0 = off
type:
# hdparm -d0 /dev/hda

This command will show space
usage per filesystem
2) 'du -sh /directory'
This command will show
space usage for 'directory',
in summary form. To
get a breakdown of space usage
for the files
