Check your /etc/sysconfig/harddisks file and change it to enable HDD DMA.
I'm running a similar system here at the office, (But with 512MB ram) and it
runs very quickly. Having the DMA enabled will decrease the apps load time.

I'm running RHv8 on a Fujitsu laptop and connect to my ISP through a
Linksys router. I have the router set up as a DHCP server which works
fine. When the laptop acquires it's data from the server it builds the
necessary /etc/resolv.conf file to deal with DNS through the ISP. All is

panel by right clicking the panel and using the button option. Also,

We have a samba server running here in our lab. Occasionally, users will
complain that they cannot delete a file. It happens when they start to
copy a file and than hit cancel. I have been using webmin to kill the

Try 3Ware, they are hardware raid and have support built into the kernel.

not parse a .php3 file. Well, I went to my trusty old
httpd.conf file and could not find where it was set up
to parse .php files so I could add .php3.
