I wrote this little guide at osnews.com and thought it might be usefull
for some people. I would be happy if it would be copied to some places
to help more people with the same problem. You don't need to ask me for
permission. ;) I wrote this in a different style than usual Linux
howto's be
On trying to logout of the system my machine consistently dies, I get a
black screen and the caps lock & scroll lock lights flash. Nothing works
apart from the power off button, thus I have no ability to further
diagnose the problem. This happens everytime.
My machine is:
Celeron 433
i810 bas

Anyone using icewm successfully on Psyche yet? I've been persisting for
a few days with metacity (BTW, is it pronounced "mEtacity" or

I have installed RH 8.0 into my Thinkpad (233 MHz, 64MB ram) and it
works fine. I even got sound to work after downloading the sndconfig
