that this is not a universal problem. I downloaded PSPP installers (and my
apologies for the error in year, yes, it is 2018) and re-posted them for my
students. Most students are using them without a problem
I can't see the operator's hands in the video, but judging from the
sound it seems that she is doing is this:
She is entering a value with the keyboard, but then not hitting the
enter key. Instead, she is simply moving the mouse cursor to the next
cell and clicking the mouse button there.

Thank you for checking. When I went through this with her via Zoom, I
specifically asked her to hit Enter and she said that is what she was doing.
The same problem happened. This is very puzzling to me...
