Say that answer because I'm using version psppire 0.8.0-gd7ab35 from the
daily snapshot (in Debian) a few days ago, and it works perfectly.
I tried the latest release candidate of pspp4windows a virtural machine with
windows xp, and icons of the toolbar were missing.

All MSWindows builds are based on the master version and can have errors.
So there is no stable version for MSWindows. The difference is that the
newer versions should include the new art work but this seems not to work
at the moment.

I can not give more details, as I have tried the release candidate versions
of pspp4windows in a virtual machine. However, the stable version of
pspp4windows works perfectly.
Apparently the release candidate versions of pspp4windows are based on daily
snapshots of the PSPP master branch git reposit
Can you give more detailed information:
- which version has the problem
- which version did NOT have the problem
- which icon disappeared

Must be an error in the "build for windows". In linux buils of the master
branch function properly.
