I'm afraid I cannot explain why this is happening.
Perhaps you could try upgrading to 0.10.2 - although nothing has changed in
that release which
should affect thiis.
Macbook is not a platform on which we recommend running PSPP. I certainly
don't get such problems under GNU,
or under GNU/Linu

Recently and inexplicably, my PSPP no longer displays data in the Data Editor
window, which is annoying because I can’t see the effects of syntax data
operations. Other than this failing, PSPP is performing normally. I’m running
