So far as we know, it only happens on Windows and on the git snapshot
(not on the official released version).
So your options are:
1. Run the program under GNU/Linux instead of under Windows.
2. Use that latest official release from ft

I am using the 0.8.5-g4936dc Version of PSPP.
I have been trying to import data that I have converted from a .xlsl into
a .csv, .txt and .ods file.
When trying to import the file into PSPP, I can use the assistant that runs
me through "importing textual data" until the end. When clicking
