Generate plots through gnuplot

Is it possible to use another tool to plot directly with PSPP? I refer for example to use gnuplot, I consider it much more powerful. On the other hand, does PSPP not use gnuplot for your license or for other reasons, in favor of plotutils? I think that gnuplot could greatly improve graphics gene
