I got reply from two users.
First said Mingw version is working on Vista x64, but Cygwin version
freezed until user used XMing X server.
However, he proposed to use MS-Windows-Engine fot GTK+.
The other user (who originally reported the error) said he used Cygwin
on Vista x32 and after reb

Like you say, pspp is currently a volunteer effort. One way in which
you could get the statistical procedures that you need, would be to
hire a programmer to implement them for you. If you find others who
share your requirements, then you could share the cost also.

Seems like this problem only affects windows vista 64 I will try to
find some computer with the 64 bits
