Based on my tests, CUDA 12.1~12.3 won't work with DEME (this is not unheard of
as certain CUDA versions are known to break applications).

try using the newest CUDA. From what I know, Chrono Engine should also work
with the newest CUDA and is not restricted to CUDA12.3, but
