I don't think they're going away anytime soon. Sure, they're not the
Big Mahoff that they used to be, but they're not near dead, afaik.

I still have a rocketmail account that goes through Yahoo. I've had the
rocketmail account since '94 and Yahoo took them over about 6 or 7 years
ago. Since then, the spam there has been unbearable so I use that mainly
as my honeypot account.

lol! You'd think Yahoo would take a tough stance on spam as it would
(or *should*) lower their costs by reducing throughput traffic of spam
crap. No?

In the mail options of Yahoo Mail you can tell yahoo not to download your spam,
download your spam with the words "SPAM" in front of the subject, or download
all your spam.

There most likely a removeable device in the mix other than Ext drive you
back up to.
Change the drive letter on the Ext drive to a letter closer to "Z",
this will allow other devices to be attached without changing the Ext drive
letter.
