IMO, Congressman Rahm Emanuel is a great choice, and I heard that he has
accepted the position. When you're trying to run the white house you need a
"Rahmbo" to keep folks in line. I see no reason the chief of staff should be
a warm and fuzzy guy.

in my humble opinion, MAGLEV has two geat drawbacks :
first it can't go in center town without building new tracks. On the
other side, running on standard railtracks allows HST to use the 'old
stations' that are, at least in Europe, inside each town.
