controlled computers. Undoubtedly an urban myth.

I have liked to use the strtran() function inside of visual foxpro.
It would be something like...
replace mField with strtran(mField,chr(13)+chr(10),"") to completely remove
or
replace mField with strtran(mField,chr(13)+chr(10),"~") to indicate where
changed

Banks insist that I do need the MICR ink.
Yet, most of the time, the checks show up with clear detail.
And in any event, no check was every denied.
