Hi list,
We are using address_verify_map to cache and limit the number of checks
on remote smtp servers. This is done because we act as a spam/virus
filter for some domains that have there own mail server. Now it seems
the address_verify_map is also used for local domains.

Hi,
I'm hoping to obtain some confirmation on the data format the sendmail
interface expects, I am under the impression that as a NIX program it
will expect emails using LF for new lines as opposed to the SMTP
standard of CRLF. How does this apply to line folding? Does Postfix then

This is rather redundant since you also specify it in recipient

I would like to enable TLS + SMTP/SASL on my postfix 2.6 for my remote laptop

But I don't know how to verify login/password who are declared on a second
server in Windows 2003 (Active Directory).
What is the best and secure methode (davecot, cyrus, ldap, kerberos, ...) ?
Any idea ?

I want to use virtual_alias_maps but I want to appear original destination
address in header.
It is possible?
Thanks
Postfix logs the orig_to address when the envelope recipient address
is replaced (for example with virtual_alias_maps).

As documented (man 5 virtual), virtual_alias_maps changes the
ENVELOPE address not the HEADER address.

That is, if that same user is sending mail from local machine(no
relaying) then filter doesn't kicks in.

Any known table lookup type can be used in local_recipient_maps.
For a list of known table types on your system, use 'postconf -m'.
