I think i got it !
I'm running Dovecot as imap server for my Squirrel mail connections.
My Dovecot version 1.2.6. I change one configuration in the dovecot
configuration file:

This is the /var/spool permission for the s-link
drwxrwxrwt 3 root root 12288 Sep 11 14:56 mail
This is the permission for the /var/spool/mail directory
