you can either
* use mailman, of course, but it may be overkill
* use your *client* (thunderbird, widows live... ) to build a recipient list
* if there are few people in the list you can use the /etc/alias file,
it works...

yes, it's fixed now. Used to be default, but the distro changed this :-(

from an other list I had the answer:
alias_map was empty, with:
alias_maps = lmdb:/etc/aliases
aliases do work.
I have now an other problem, but I work on it
