Hi All :)
I am wondering about one thing... on page
http://mirrors-ru.go-parts.com/postfix/source/index.html I see that at the
moment versions 2.8 - 2.11 are stable and supported. So for them if for
example a security problem will be spotted it will be solved by some patch.
At the same time I see
Hi all.
Currently we have some amount of spam with different Return-Path and From
fields. What to do to filter it? Should it be done in postfix (at mta
level) or maybe in spamassassin? I think that SPF could be used but what
about domains which do not have proper spf records?
Best regards,
Rafal.

Hi all. I am trying to configure postfix to relay all mails send from
localhost (postfix 2.7.1-1, Ubuntu 10.10) to LAN Exchange server which then
sends out to the Internet.
- main.cf:
*mydestination =
relayhost = [10.0.1.222]:25
mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8
mailbox_size_limit = 0

I've followed the discussion in the thread.
Is it possible to for example make configuration with:
- two SMTP(Postfix)/POP&IMAP(maildb) servers in front;
- two db servers(PostgreSQL) working in active-active (both read&write)
configuration behind?
I would like to have configuration in which failur
Hi all.
Is it possible to store not only user info but also e-mails in a database
such as MySQL or PostgreSQL?
If yes can you share your experience?
Hi all.
I have a problem with proper configuration of smtpd_sender_login_maps. I
think i don't understand correctly what should be inside the hash file from
smtpd_sender_login_maps. I use this parameters:
smtpd_sender_login_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/files/sender_login_maps

Hi all. I have some general questions about sumission and smtps:
- does settings from /etc/postfix/main.cf of type '*tls*' apply to
smtps(tcp/465) also?
- to use SASL for smtpd and submission and smtps the same way do I have to
make separate files like /usr/lib/sasl2/{smtpd,submission,smtps}.conf
SASL was compiled with --enable-sql. Here is the output of saslfinger:

Hi all. I'm currently installing an smtp server on CentOS 5.3. Part of it is
to use PostgreSQL backend to store virtual users/domains/aliases/passwords
and of course to use it for SASL authentication. My
/usr/lib/sasl2/smtpd.conf file:
pwdcheck_method: auxprop
sql_engine: pgsql
sql_user: postfix
