able to get Postfix compiling and working on High Sierra with the following
command:
make -f Makefile.init makefiles \
CCARGS='-DUSE_SASL_AUTH -DDEF_SERVER_SASL_TYPE=\"dovecot\"

I’ve done some testing with swaks trying to track my performance issue. I
don’t think this is a postfix issue. It is just the most apparent symptom.
I’ve also noticed SSH to my server is quite laggy but if I use the command line
with Screen Sharing it is responsive. Same with SFTP, some
. It seems to be intermittent. With many emails
sending immediately or after 5 seconds or so but a few taking 40-60 seconds.
Size of the email doesn’t seem to be a factor.

OS X server. Originally it was OS 10.7.4 and Postfix 2.9.4, which worked very
