Thanks for your comprehensive answer. I am convinced now, to go the
amavisd-new way. It is the preffered tool to do what we need.

Okay, I am convinced, actually I am investigating how to integrate this

Yes, it is possible to use different header/body_checks on different
IP addresses. Unfortunately

For example, there is a (rather ancient) mail thread from 2010

Hi
I need to log all records of header References.
My header_checks content:
/^References:/ INFO
I found that if message has more than 4 records in References then log
record is truncated.
Now postfix log only first 3 records. Current limit is about 200
characters.

Hi,
We need to send a lot of raw eml files.
I decided to use sendmail as a solution for this process.
We have approx 6000 files in "maildrop" queue, messages are going out from
maildrop but i would like to speed up this process.
I wonder is there any configuration option in postfix to control ma
I've changed $myhostname to value not listed in hosts file and cleaned
$mynetworks. Problem solved.
Thank you.

Hello,
I need to configure a second MTA on the same server.
You can tell that this does not make sense but this is a workaround for one
issue i have.
Postfix listen on port 225 and another MTA on port 25.
postfix has transport_maps enabled
transport_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/transport

Hi
My postfix server have amavis as before-queue filter.
When message accepted sender receive following from my mx:
"250 2.0.0 from SMTP(smtp:[127.0.0.1]:10081): 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as
8hKVdC2v93"
Is there any way to hide this section?
250 2.0.0 from SMTP(smtp:[127.0.0.1]:10081):

Hello
We have a haproxy with `check` command enabled to check availability of the
postfix backend.
We can set different time period for the check.
I am interesting is there a way how we can suppress (do not log) following
rows from postscreen process?
postfix/postscreen[14245]: CONNECT from [192.
I did not enable debug logging.
As i wrote these messages appear from time to time. Not all the time.

Hello,
I found that sometimes my postfix-2.11.0 write following in maillog
Today postfix logged ~ 5000 of rec_get messages to maillog in 1 sec only.
Please advice how to stop this.

Thanks.

Hello,
I have postfix-2.10.2 with milter and amavis as smtpd_proxy_filter
installed.
All information stored in database and at 1st min of each hour domains and
recipients copied to local files. Then postmap command performed.
I notice that very rarely postfix reject valid recipients. I know that

Yes! Thank you very much! This was the problem!
I've thought, virtual_mailbox_domain must contain all
asswd=p506oncujUVPw
I supposed that the authentification was successfully. But postfix doesn't send
my mail.

Does anyone an idea why postfix doesn't accepts mails after SASL authentication?
