An interesting question, can there is a use case where some classes of failure could be configured to be bounced earlier, if the domain does not exist is a good one, it wont ever improve, exyfingers.co will continue to not exist, no matter how long postfix waits while most might say just don't

The documentation on that link says dc=cgprouter is virtual, which means it literally wont exist in ldap (wont be found), maybe its an error in the way the mapping is configured, it only rewrites children of that virtual domain to the matching ldap.. so maybe you need to ask the developers of th

This is not a warning, it is an error, your base might be wrong. your ldapsearch test would return the same result even if the base was wrong.. try searching for something that exists.. open yourldap with a ldap gui and cut and paste the base, or better test your search config file with postmap

sorbs is not always a consistent organization, both listing and delisting can be chaotic, i don't think they have a policy based system, it has in the past been based on reporting that is vetted only sporadically, you'd think mozilla would only use dnsbl from larger organisations with a policy
